The Tiimo system
A planning app for neurodivergent users where unlocking an achievement changes the ambient visual environment of the screen.
The design logic
Tiimo's system is unusually integrated and unusually honest. The streak and the marble achievement system share the same two underlying metrics, consecutive days and tasks completed, and the app states their purpose clearly: not 'don't break your streak' but 'we will celebrate every step with you.' When a marble is unlocked, the background gradient of the stats screen shifts to reflect the marble's color, the achievement changes the environment the user inhabits.
The mechanic sequence
The core loop is: use the AI co-planner to structure the day → complete morning tasks → afternoon tasks → evening tasks → log mood → streak increments → task count advances → marble unlocks → stats screen changes color → next marble becomes visible with countdown. The AI co-planner reduces planning friction specific to ADHD users, which increases task completion, which advances both the streak and the marble collection.

Marbles are milestone markers on two tracks (tasks completed, consecutive days) that dynamically change the background gradient of the stats screen when unlocked, the achievement reward is environmental, not just additive.
The marble's color-reactive gradient is the most visually integrated achievement reward in the library. The achievement doesn't add a badge, it changes the ambient visual environment of the screen the user spends the most time on.

Tiimo tells users exactly what the streak minimum is, exactly when the next marble unlocks, and exactly what the streak is for. The honest framing and the genuine product benefit (AI planning quality) are both load-bearing.
